Lennart Halvarsson

Hi, my name is Lennart Halvarsson and I am a retired purchaser and live, with my wife Marita, in the city of Arvika in the west of Sweden.

I bought my first SLR camera – a Fujica ST 801 - in 1974. Ever since then photography has been one of my biggest interests beside music and nature. Landscape and wildlife are my first choises. Using Pentax, Minolta, Nikon and Canon I´m now back where I started - with Fujifilm X-series.

I live not far from woodlands, lakes and rivers in Sweden with plenty of photo opportunities. But I also love to travel in the north of Scandinavien with coastlands, mountains, mammals and birds. Favourite places in Sweden are Värmland - where I live -, Skåne and Lapland. In Norway the whole country is amazing but Lofoten and Varanger peninsula are something special. Iceland and Finnish Lapland are two other wounderful places in the north of Europe.

But I have also visited other parts of the world and photographed landscapes in for examples Scotland, Ireland, England and Italy. I have also photographed birds in Hungary and mammals in Africa.

I hope you will enjoy my website!
